Solid Waste
The Clarke County Commission contracts with Allied Waste Service to maintain a mandatory solid waste collection. The mandatory collection is contracted and enforced by the Clarke County Health Department Environmentalist.

Clarke County owns a water system that serves six communities:

The county also contracts with the Old Suggsville Water Authority to do the billing, collections, and maintenance for its water system.
