Sheriff Bobby Moore, Chief Law Enforcement Officer of the Clarke County Sheriff Office, is elected by the citizens of Clarke County to serve a four year term. The Clarke County Sheriff Department operates on a 24 hour basis serving the citizens of Clarke County. Sheriff Moore supervises a highly trained staff of 14 full time deputies, 17 jail employees, investigative division and two administrative support staff employees.
Assistant to the sheriff is Chief Deputy Ronald Robinson. While the sheriff and the chief deputy are often busy serving the citizens of Clarke County, you will always find the friendly faces of Jill Walker and Faye Shaper to assist you to the best of their abilities during your visit at the sheriff department.
